Elegoo Saturn 3 – 3D Printer

The Elegoo family has grown richer with the Saturn 3 series. Their user-friendly MSLA 3D printers Saturn 3 break ranks with it’s incredible 12 K HD resolution and guarantee details without end, sharp corners and edges as well as smooth surfaces!

12K resolution for highly detailed model surfaces

Elegoo Saturn 3 is equipped with a 10-inch monochrome LCD display. With an LCD resolution of 12 K (11520 x 5120 pixels) and xy resolution of 19 x 24 μm, the resin printer achieves incredible results with razor-sharp details even on complicated models. At the same time, it operates at a standard print speed of up to 70 mm/h.

A scratch- and abrasion-resistant 9H display protector made of explosion-proof tempered glass guarantees high light transmission. At the same time, it ensures that the LCD display is protected from scratches as well as damage caused by leaking or penetrating resin.

Large build volume

With a build volume of 218.88 x 122.88 x 250 mm, you can try your hand at creative projects with larger models.

Stable structure for higher printing success rates

► Double linear guide rail ensures quiet, smooth and precise z-axis movements.

► Non-slip levelling screws with hexagon sockets facilitate levelling.

► Raised centre plate of printer prevents (possible) resin leakage to machine components.

Combined light source for more detail

The innovative light technology patented by Elegoo, consisting of a COB light source and a Fresnel lens collimator, produces a light beam of 405 nm wavelength, enabling right-angle exposure of the screen with a light angle of less than 5° and ensuring uniformity of more than 92%. High-precision prints with detailed surfaces and sharp corners and edges are the result.

Laser engraved build plate

The Saturn 3 is equipped with a laser-engraved build plate. This ensures excellent adhesion of the models and prevents them from peeling or warping during printing.

USB plug-in air purifier with activated carbon filter

Integrated into the Saturn 3 is a USB plug-in air purifier with a protective plastic cover. This features an activated carbon filter that absorbs and filters harmful and unpleasant resin odours during 3D printing.

Compatibility with MARS MATE Air Purifier

The Saturn 3 Series is compatible with the MARS MATE Air Purifier. The air purifier improves the printing environment and provides fresh air.

Optimised heat dissipation system

The Saturn 3 features an efficient heat dissipation system. This includes 6 heat pipes and 4 side fans. While the heat pipes provide better heat conduction, the fans at the light source ensure faster ventilation and better heat dissipation.

Voxeldance Tango slicing software

This resin printer uses Elegoo’s proprietary Voxeldance Tango slicing software. This provides various printing modes to help improve printing efficiency:

• Static mode,
• Dynamic mode (including smooth and high-speed mode).

Open Source GOO

Elegoo’s open-source GOO slice file format is compatible with a variety of other slicing software besides Voxeldance Tango, such as CHITUBOX or Lychee Slicer.
